THREADED INLINE AIR HEATERS<\/h2>\n

Threaded Inline Heaters are ideal for demanding, high-pressure applications and processes requiring higher inlet temperatures. Serpentine\u2122 heating elements are housed in a 304 stainless steel body that features threaded male NPT connections at both ends. It can achieve exhaust temperatures up to 1400\u00ba F and withstand pressures up to 150 PSI.<\/p>\n

TUTCO SureHeat offer two styles, Style \u201cA\u201d and Style \u201cB\u201d inline air heaters. Style \u201cA\u201d should be used when a leak-proof air system is required.<\/p>\n

Threaded inline air heaters are commonly connected to filtered compressed air supply lines and rapidly heat air for precise temperature control inline with heated industrial processes.<\/p>\n<\/div>

  • Type K thermocouple sold separately. Use of other sensor types and mounting locations can result in heater damage<\/li>\n
  • Thermocouple mounting depth location is critical. Follow all mounting instructions.<\/li>\n
  • If replacing a Thermocouple, take note of the depth by measuring the distance to the compression fitting on the old Thermocouple.<\/li>\n

    • Make sure to properly mount the TC coupling<\/strong> so that the TC is slightly above the ceramic rod <\/strong>running through the center of the Serpentine<\/strong>\u2122 heating element. The open end of the TC should be in the heated air stream.<\/strong><\/li>\n
    • The inlet side<\/strong> of the heater is located closest to the power feed throughs<\/strong>. Installation orientation is critical<\/strong>. Positioning the heater in the wrong direction will cause damage. Like all Tutco SureHeat heaters, do not operate without the air on.<\/li>\n
    • As with all Tutco SureHeat<\/strong> heaters, do not operate the device without the air being turned on.<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>
